REVIEW — “Scooby-Doo & Scrappy-Doo:” The Complete Season 1 DVD

ScoobyBanner

For the first time, all sixteen episodes of the first season of Scooby-Doo & Scrappy are available on DVD!

In 1979, the beloved animated Scooby-Doo series was revived.  While the basic formula remained the same, one character was added to the team, Scooby’s stubby nephew, Scrappy.  While Scrappy would eventually go on to be a character disliked by many fans of the original series, in season one he’s not so bad.  These feel a lot like the original 1969 series, which is a good thing!

For parents who want to expose their kids to the classic series of their childhood, or adults who just want to seep in nostalgia, this is a great collection to own.  While there aren’t any real extras on this two disk set, it’s a great value of over 5 hours of content for less than $20.
