The bromance begins. As two private detectives who team up in the search for a missing girl, Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe form a dynamic comedic duo in Shane Black’s witty and surprising “The Nice Guys.”

“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” is a step-down from its predecessor, but Efron and Rogen provide enough laughs to make it a decent comedy sequel.

Although some of the jokes in the film are often (like the rubber band of a slingshot) stretched to a breaking point, for kids “The Angry Birds Movie” is a flocking good time.

Not even George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Jack O’Connell can save this dud from director Jodie Foster.
